The P3 Collaboratory is happy to announce our first ever bookclub!
In Spring 2023, we will be reading Cia Verschelden's Bandwidth Recovery: Helping Students Reclaim Cognitive Resources Lost to Poverty, Racism and Social Marginalization (Stylus Publishing, 2017) with a select group of faculty, staff, and graduate students. Dr. Verschelden will visit Rutgers-Newark in late April to deliver the lunchtime keynote for the P3's Anchoring Higher Ed conference (April 27, 2023) and will attend the final bookclub meeting to answer questions and guide conversation.
The application to join the Bandwidth Recovery bookclub in NOW OPEN and closes on Tuesday, February 7th @ 5pm. Accepted participants will receive a free copy of the book!
Note: Application open until 2/7/23 at 5pm EST.
Accepted participants are expected to attend three group discussions about the book. Meetings will occur during free periods (2:30-3:50) on the following Wednesdays:

3/29/23 (Zoom)
4/26/23 (in-person meeting with author; location TBD).
